Before: measure access
Check the narrowest gate, turns, slopes and steps. Move lawn furniture and other items out of the agreed machine route.
During planning: specify the result
Agree on the grinding depth and area. Let the estimator know if the space is intended for grass, planting, a fence or a construction project.
After: plan soil and settling
Confirm who handles grindings, backfill and restoration. Roots can remain beyond the ground area, and the surface may need attention as material settles.
